@bxthstudio: One thing I beat myself over the head with often is how I only really finish a single print every month, when I see other printmakers finish several every week! I have all kinds of cool designs ready for carving, but sitting down and actually getting started feels like climbing a mountain. I think it's a lot to do with perfectionism; I cannot just carve a block for fun or to learn, it /has/ to be a "masterpiece" every time. Silly silly! This year I am trying to break that habit, but it's like walking in deep, rushing water; I'm slowly getting there but the water pushes against me, and the waves keep knocking me backwards. #printmaker #linocut #linoprint #tma #themagnusarchives #billcipher #otgw
