Try to keep some cold water or drink on you at all times if you can. Keep some mints, candy or gum on you as well. When I have panic attacks I feel like my throats closing up & it’s hard to breathe. Swallowing something helps remind me “I can breathe and this is anxiety”. Hugs ❤️🩹

I was ignoring the mental stress for a long time and never did therapy or anything. One day it all came out as physical symptoms.. and then I also had a panic attack too. So scary. Started seeing a therapist and talking about things I didn’t even think stressed me out caused me to breathe heavy. It’ll take time but I think these are signs we have to listen to our body more and slow down. Also rule out medical! Lab work can also tell us things. Like hormones!

I had a panic attack in a lift after my father shouted again (parents are divorced, he used to shout a lot and I can’t bear to hear him shout), so I went to my moms apartment, I had a panic attack and couldn’t hear anything else then my own breathing and ears ringing
