Leakers and ppl with inside-info say that she was meant to be a universal support but the developers specially wanted her to be Phainon’s BiS support. Unfortunately, Phainon’s kit is so hard to moderate that Cerydra always ended up being a better support for other characters, such as Anaxa than to Phainon. So basically she ended up being someone else’s BiS support(cough Anaxa cough), and her value for Phainon just wasn’t that great. Eventually they decided to make her what Jiaoqiu is to Acheron. This was actually very early on in her development, you can see that Anaxa makes a great use of Cerydra(she’s apparently barely better than Robin for him), you can say that it’s a remnant of Cerydra’s universal capabilities.

The thing is she only increases Anaxa’s damage by 5% compared to c0s0 tribbie 💀. At that point, pull e1 tribbie instead (best support eidelon in the game). Who ever thought it was smart to make a part of her kit only work FOR Phainon and nobody else, needs ti be fired. If she doesn’t get buffs or changed drastically she’ll be next to sparkle as the worst limited harmony, because she literally sucks in all teams except Phainon

cerydra is better for anaxa than robin when she's e1 and you're building def shred anaxa (his sig, his e1, e1 sunday, e1 ruan mei, quantum set, etc) but overcapping on def shred is unfortunately incredibly real too... may they buff her and not make her entirely phainon focused
