Let me tell the truth this Mother’s Day… I wasn’t always there. I was chasing my dreams, building businesses, and trying to create a better life. And while I was doing all that—I missed some things. But motherhood taught me more than I ever expected. Not just about them. But about me. Here are 10 things I’ve learned being a mother: 1.	Your presence is more powerful than perfection. Even when I wasn’t there every day, I loved them every minute. 2.	You can’t pour from an empty cup. I had to learn that my healing, peace, and purpose mattered too. 3.	Every child needs something different. I had to stop parenting with guilt and start showing up how they needed me. 4.	Guilt comes free with motherhood—but grace is what keeps you going. And I’ve needed a whole lot of grace. 5.	You’re not just raising children—you’re raising future adults. I focused on showing them how to stand on their own two feet. 6.	There’s power in a mama’s prayers. When I couldn’t be there physically, I covered them spiritually. 7.	Letting go is part of the job. I’ve had to release control and trust the seeds I’ve planted. 8.	You’re their first teacher. Even when I thought they weren’t watching, they were learning from my grind. 9.	There’s no blueprint—you build the motherhood journey one day at a time. I messed up, made up, and kept it moving. 10.	You’re doing better than you think. If you’re still trying, still growing, still loving—you’re doing it right. To every mama who didn’t get it perfect—me too. But we showed up in the ways we could, and we’re still showing up now. Happy Mother’s Day. Tag a mama who needs to hear this today. Let her know: You’re doing better than you think.
