It sucks that payment processing companies have so much pull and while I’m glad they’re trying to do something about the amount of porn games on steam but this is probably going to be a net negative change

Collective Shout, conservative, pro-life, anti-trans, anti-lgbtq “feminists”… oh, not to mention they’re partnered with evangelical groups. They were behind that whole push to remove the “No Mercy” game. It’s absolutely fine to be opposed to a game like that. But instead of educating the public on why they think it should be removed. They resorted to manipulation. Hundreds of videos popped up at the same time all following the same script. I honestly think they chose this method of playing on people’s emotions, sense of justice and using that outrage to gain support because if people were to actually look into this group and learn what they actually stand for. They wouldn’t have gotten the same results. Now they have payment processors on their side to force compliance. Long story short, they’re a bunch of manipulative, hateful, bigoted scumbags.
