Adult Emergency medicine IS A specialty that not everyone is cut out to do. In fact I personally think Emergency Medicine and primary are the two most important areas of medicine because they’re usually the ones who diagnose/treat chronic illnesses/trauma and refer out. So thank you for ALL you do!! 🙌🏾🫶🏾Also I didn’t mean anything negative to you personally with my last comment…I was totally kidding. Sometimes my humor can be a bit hard to gage if you don’t know me personally. 😊

I have a family member who is also an RN who tells me that (an ER RN). I’ve run out of ways to say that ER *is* a specialty.

EM docs are some of my favorites. Jack of all trades, master of none 😂 and yall always manage to be a black cloud wherever you go. Did an icu locum locally to me. Code blue to the er, my fave er doc from my old hospital. Looked at him and said “of course you’re here, Oscar. That explains the night we’re having” and he just chuckled 😂😂
