@sister..crystal: Replying to @ankara1345 I have several English translations of the Qur’an, not because one is better than the other, but because Arabic is so rich, no single translation can capture it all. One word can carry layers of meaning that English just can’t hold alone. #Quran #Arabic #QuranInEnglish #Islam #Fyp
You're a treasure Crystal, May Allah reward you abundantly in this world and the next 🤲💚

Because.... English has about 171K words, whereas Arabic has 12 million
and the way the two languages used differnt ways to construct words and senstences.
Therefore, can't be easily translated like other Latin based languages to other Latin based languages.

Even us, as a Muslim family who fully understands and reads in arabic, we have four copies of the quran. Mainly because in holy days like in ramadan or whenever we feel like it we read out loud together and reading from the book will always be better than reading it online. I mostly know the hafs recitation but we also have a quran that is in the warsh recitation so another reason is to practice those recitations

I think it’s actually rlly interesting that Arabic words have a lot of meanings yet there are so many of them, I might have to look into this linguistically !! How interesting

The reason why Qur'an has seven different levels of enclosed personal privileged knowledge or seven levels of Jannahs, which is a Quranic term and not part of the Arabic lexicon. Saba'a samaawaat, not the sky above which is grammatically written as samawaat in the Arabic language, (notice the subtle difference in spelling(added 'a') and hence pronunciation).

The English language doesn’t have the capacity for the Quran! I’d say Saheeh international is quite close For beginner! 2 .Maraduke Picktahall .he buried Brookwood Cemetery in Surrey next to Abdullah Quilliam ! Our maker forgive them ! We should visit them!
