John 15:18 - "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first." But we must remember that Jesus himself was hated by the world. He was mocked, ridiculed, and ultimately crucified for the message of love and salvation that he preached. If we face hatred and persecution for following in his footsteps, we can take comfort in knowing that we are in good company. So let us stand firm in our faith, knowing that the world may hate us, but we are loved by the one who gave his life for us. Let us respond to hatred with love, to persecution with grace, and to darkness with the light of Christ shining through us. And let us remember the words of Jesus, that in this world we will face trouble, but he has overcome the world.
