Earlier this year in March, I was working at Bojangles as a manager (March made it 5 months there). It was NOT for me. I tried.. Lord knows I did. But I knew it was something bigger and better. I started applying to multiple jobs and GOT THE POSITION but soon as my background came back.. so did the disappointment. I CRIED all the time because I hate being turned down. So I decided to sit & think…telling myself “I need something that could make me my own boss, make me more money to take care of myself and my family, take me around the world to learn new things daily and HAVE FUN WHILE DOING IT. “ So I started taking a yellow folder to work STUDYING in between having no cars or customers. I MADE TIME FOR WHAT I WANTED. I studied for 5 days then went that Friday (March 21st) to try for my CDL Permit. On my FIRST TRY…15 minutes & 95 questions later, I was walking out with my CDL permit. I called my mama so fast and said “I got it” she said “got what?”*excited* I said “My CDL Permit” she said “girl shut yo f*cking mouth. I KNOW THATS RIGHT” 😂😩 Fast forward to June 23rd I started truck driving school. Dedicated! Early! Driven! Focused! & SO READY. Passed class my FIRST WEEK in with a 94 after 31 quizzes😩 3 weeks left consisted of being outside in the heat DAILY.. LEARNING so many parts of the truck and learning the maneuvers. Passed my assessments my 2nd week in and my CDL test was scheduled😩😩😩. A MONTH after school (July 23) I walked in that DMV so nervous but WALKED OUT with my Commercial Drivers License. My trucker name is “BIG Mook”. Put some respect on THAT❤️😘 #TruckerGal #IWorkedPrayedManifested #IDIDIT #sc #sch#schooluckdriver I also wanna say THIS IS A CAREER THAT TAKES OVER YOUR LIFE so I thank everyone who participated with my kids while I was in school, who knew and kept quiet & everyone who pushed me and said they were proud of me. I LOVE YALL & I GOT YALL ❤️😩👏🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽😎😘
