I remember once it was super hot and our school didn't have air conditioning. we were allowed to bring water bottles and it was a huge deal

We lived life so dehydrated and then for some reason we all in 2012 thought, “I should get a water bottle” and now we never put them down.

I had that baby you put warm water in and it was always cold in the 90s. 😆 If they thought it was broke, you got a frozen sponge in a bag, maybe…but only if you had a paper saying it was a risk

Nope! Only time got to have water bottle was when I had surgery, and had to have dr excuse for it! Same for middle school when I had kidney problems, had to have excuse for that too.

My kids have a water fountain and 1 stall bathroom IN THEIR CLASSROOM! And the kids take water bottles.

The high school I went to was built in 2010. I took my son to swim in the pool this summer and the were removing all the traditional water fountains. The school replaced them with the water bottle fillers. No more water fountains.

My 6th grade teacher actually let us have water bottles, but in ‘92 our bottles were a bright neon color half the size of our torsos with a crinkle straw & cap.

In the elementary schools I went to, (bc as an military brat I went to a lot), you had to have a doctor's note for water and cough drops inside the classroom. So my mom got smart and had the primary doctor write out PRN Rx for children's Tylenol/Ibuprofen, as well as cough drops, and water bottles during the entire school year.
