I have a lot of morally grey things where it's well intentioned or the best of bad choices and I want to spark conversation about which way the readers would go

So far, readers of my work resonated with the message that you don't have to rush things and there's so much in life to appreciate and love. There's a transformative magic in having a good time with good people.

I hope readers see that some things do break you. But healing doesn’t mean erasing who you were to survive. With time, truth, and self-love it can get better. Maybe not how you pictured, but still real. Still yours. 🤍

tbh idk. I wrote this as a sort of stream of consciousness, and it is an expiration of a larger world so it's never been front of mind. I'd love for someone to read it and tell me what they take from it in terms of themes. I won't lie I do have one I'm the back of my mind but I won't say it publicly until at least a few pieces of the universe are out.

Main points:
1. Heroes have to be willing to do monstrous things.
2. Sometimes, all it takes to save someone is to tell them that you'll be there to talk whenever they're ready.
3. Intelligence agencies do a lot of terrible things to innocent people because of ambitious people wanting to get promoted.

This is such a great question! My themes are focused on stepping into & embracing your power (particularly women), healthy and supportive romantic love, defying those in power (especially when they are abusing that power), creating a worldwide community of care & balance, and the importance of Multiculturalism 💜

I have no idea 🤷♀️I believe my WIP is good but have zero idea what any theme is supposed to be. I’m just writing a story.

Love is a very big component of my book but also the fact that secrets, particularly family secrets, become increasingly dangerous the longer that they are hidden and suppressed. The theme of trust is a big one as well.

what I really hope they tale away from it: 1 love should not hurt you. it's built on trust and warmth. 2 Every child deserves safety and love. 3 the system allows bad actors to compound the hurt, because children aren't seen as people, only tools. 4 sometimes the world isn't fair, but that means you do what you can to make it better, even if it's only one person.

I just want my readers to feel something, anything. I want them to cry, laugh, scream in frustration. If they walk away from books having felt a strong emotion of any kind, I've done my job.

I guess that sometimes you have to walk through darkness to see the light (in the life sense). Like experience hardship to earn peace. It has many other themes and takeaways but that was the first that came to my mind

my first YA novel Tempting Lips the main theme is the sisterly bond that is sometimes taken for granted. Family doesn't always have to be loyal and stick by your side so when they do you should make sure they know you appreciate it. also that quiet appreciation in romance is underrated.

People want the illusion of freedom, not true freedom. Society demands some form of rules but people also want the illusion of freedom. It’s also about how death doesn’t discriminate between the Sinners and the Saints. It just is. You can’t run, hide, or gamble with Death
