Hi there! I’m sorry you had this negative interaction with a client :( I think people forget that the church doesn’t always have to be a physical building.. it’s fellowship with like minded people who want to grow their relationship with the Lord and do so by breaking down the Scripture correctly! A lot of people will try to invite you to church bc it is our job as Christians to try and plant the seed to bring others closer to God, and people who may not have the strongest relationship with Christ think that the best thing they can do for others is invite them to a physical church. I understand that many people have experienced church hurt but not all churches are judgmental and hypocritical, although a lot of them can be unfortunately :( and if you’re interested in going to a physical church you just find the one that suits you the best and have people there that represent Christ correctly :) This doesn’t negate the fact that people can just pick up their Bible, read it, and get to know Jesus Christ themselves which is what I feel is they most beneficial as a follower of Christ (you can do this at a physical church, at home, at the park, a coffee shop, etc). You do have to be careful though cuz people who claim they know Jesus or may not have strong faith can be very misleading and wrongly judgmental which can put Christianity in a bad light and misrepresent what is to be Christian. Just because we deal with that regularly in life, church isn’t supposed to be that way 😳. When we come to church we don’t wanna see cattiness and drama. Who told you that? 😫
