i don’t understand why the indisputably racist white men of this season aren’t being met w the same fervor as huda, isn’t the constant framing of this season as huda v chelley & olandria only feeding into the propaganda that’s meant to divide Black and Palestinian solidarity? so many ppl were anti-ace all season up until a couple nights before the final vote and then everyone acted shocked he and chelley weren’t in the the final four, as if the anti-ace bias wasn’t a factor — why were ppl quicker to accuse ace of being a production plant for being critical of jeremiah vs iris who was quite literally planted in a nonsensical couple w him making him vulnerable — why aren’t jeremiah or hannah being sought for “accountability” for continuing friendships w the known racist white men? the show has done a good job at pitting the BIPOC people against each other by creating a spectacle of the BIPOC contestants while mind you all of those identities are being actively erased in mass — Black, Palestinian, and Latino representation was so important for so many people for so many reasons and it’s been spoiled by our own communities’ targeting the three most marginalized women (who are all up against systemic violence and trauma) while the whites sit back and watch like iris and tj in that one scene — ppl calling ace a production plant completely overlooking all the maga plants who (w the exception of yulissa) have gotten off scott free being painted as the least problematic ppl this season while actually being some of the most blatantly violent in their beliefs, don’t those ring production-plant-alarms for anyone?? i worry so much for these three women being the center of everyone’s trauma projections

It’s very scary to watch Huda’s behavior. She really is making it dangerous for the other Black contestants. The fact that Alex is excusing it is mind boggling since she was a victim herself

Exactly and it makes it so much harder to pull people like Huda back into a space to have proper reflection and accountability because she can barely give it now and the response to that behaviour was to give her a major platform to reaffirm her delusion and victim mentality

everyone is just excusing huda’s actions because of her past. but also, i never saw a redemption arc for huda, its just the people watching who decided to switch up on huda, and additionally olandria and chelley. justice for chelley and olandria.

I hope that she goes to therapy and reflects on her behavior and changes. Being abused IS why she’s the way she is. It is her responsibility not to become her father but it’s also ok to empathize for the trauma she endured as a child.
