From a Neurosomatic perspective, the muscles you use in your face when feeling emotions activate cranial nerves that then activate parts of your limbic system (where your brain processes emotions) and so if your face muscles can’t activate those cranial nerves as well anymore, and stimulate the parts of the brain responsible for emotions, then over time that part of the brain would be less and less stimulated, thus further pushing this identity into more sociopathic tendencies. Just some of my thoughts on this v intriguing topic 🙏🏼
