Personally, I feel like they had to sit on it. If they released it, the base would automatically assume hoax. By leaving it they force him to deal with it and I am guessing they were betting he would fumble it. I think they (DNC) are concerned with the MAGA base. They are afraid of Jan 6 part two.

There are actually a surprising number of MAGA people who are finally realizing - due to the Epstein coverup - that Trump took them for a ride. I take it as a positive development. Of course they will still fall for the next conservative charlatan and get all surprised when that person eventually gaslights them, ironically it’s just like how liberals are somehow still shocked when establishment Dems throw their constituents to the wolves in return for a quick buck. I guess we are just a gullible country.
