The way it was written decreases its authenticity.

my friend was presumed to have a phone and a weapon and to have pranked 911. he didn't have a phone or weapon. it was actually the neighbor but police went to his door. he was asleep and very ill, 102 fever, told them to leave a note, call or come another time, never opened the door. they wouldn't go and he got mad, hit the door in anger and police yelled shots fired. swat came, busted in, firebombed him. the news reported he was hanging out the window with an AK. he was in jail for 6 months. no gun, bullet or phone was found. the news still makes the same false claims and the police did not recant, but dropped the charges. this is one day in 2025. imagine passing the story down and writing about it 60 years later. think critically.

neat, now, if you know the stories of any mythology, you'll know they have similar circumstances but you don't believe them either.

It was written over 6000 years. The mid and New Testament books 6-66 were written over 1500 years. The Bible contains the Torah and is the foundation of the Quran.

I think it’s funny when people reject Biblical accounts because they were written by believers. How could you record your account of Jesus rising from the dead and NOT become a believer??!!

Ah yes, if one thing is true than every part of something has to be true.

uhhhm no. no historians accept the resurrection. they accept the MAN part of the story based on consistency. an apocalyptic messianic preacher who went against state and church and got himself crucified. that is the extent of reliable probability they can agree on based on known aspects. miracles and resurrection aren't, they are known to be part of the fantastical claims that where quite mundane at that time. apparently people could easily come back from the dead back then or it was commonplace to claim it. but there's, obviously, no evidence of such things.

Problem is all authors were off their ass smoking hallucinogenic type stuff and came up with their own delusional concepts. People who take hallucinogens have come up with so called spiritual experiences. But now we know they aren’t real.

It does not tell one cohesive story of redemption. The bible is filled with inconsistencies and contradictions. Hundreds of denominations of Christianity whose members cannot agree on key tenets of what Christianity is prove that.

Mr. Bruce :
Using the bible to prove the bible applies when a claim is made. You can’t claim that Jesus walked on water because it’s in the bible. That’s not proof, it’s a claim.
