@theirongiantess: On your worst days, be one or the other, not all or nothing. All or nothing thinking is a trap. It convinces you that if one part of your day is “off,” the whole thing is ruined. So you throw it all away like a punishment. But here’s a tip I give my one-on-one clients all the time: 👉 Be one or the other. Not all or nothing. If your workout didn’t happen today? Cool. Nail your nutrition. If you went out and enjoyed a fun meal? Great. Move your body. On your worst days, when you feel like it’s all or nothing, center one way of taking care of yourself. For me, when I can’t work out, I’m going to make sure my food is on point and I’m getting nutrient dense foods. On the days where I want to have a fun meal, I’m going to work out. Not only am I going get a sick pump from those extra carbs or fun foods, but nutrient partitioning is going to allow my muscles to rebuild using the foods that I’ve had. Can’t do either? Hydrate. Stretch. Go to bed early. Take a walk. On your worst days, pick one way to take care of yourself. Because when you anchor into small acts of care—every single day—you stay rooted in your goals without burning out or spiraling. You don’t have to do it all. You just have to do something. That’s how you build consistency. That’s how you build trust. That’s how you keep going. Which one are you choosing today?
