😂😂😂 I love how everyone is saying *this is why you read it "1st/3rd"* hahaha def read the 3rd book 3rd! hahaha they call them prequels for a reason. if it was meant to be read in order, it would have been published first and just be the first book... not a prequel... 🙃

This is why you read it first. It will always be a gut punch. It will always emotionally devastate us. It will always be one of the greatest heartbreaks that I saw coming and still walked towards. Reading it third means you already know the ending, honey you know the ending by the end of story three… and just had to accept to continue

You did not did it wrong. It is the same Sam. You would bot have the attachment to the characters if you read Assassin's Blade first, period.
