ICE has authority including under title 40 United States code. They basically have ALL federal authority of a US Marshall IF observing violations of federal law. They are required to make felony or crime of violence offenses. The ONLY thing they are bound by is agency policy and procedure regulations. Those may be changed or amended at ANY time by proper agency heads OR designees. people are stupid and easily led by the media and politicians with an agenda
