@adaora.lumina: Not every friend will understand your journey. And that’s okay. Sometimes it’s easy to get sad or frustrated when your friends don’t show up for you in the ways you hope. Especially when strangers or people in the public seem to offer more support than the ones closest to you. But over time, I’ve come to understand something…People often struggle to support what they don’t understand. Many of us are on paths that are unconventional, untraditional, uncharted. And sometimes, we ourselves can’t even articulate what we’re building…we just know we’re being led to do something meaningful. Some of my friends have supported me, not because they understood what I was doing, but because they loved me. And that love ? It was enough. Eventually, some came around. They saw what I was building and finally got it. Some still don’t….and that’s okay too. Allow your friends to love you in the ways they can. And keep doing what you’re called to do. You don’t need to be fully understood to be fully worthy. ❤️🚀
