AI doomers don’t seem to understand that in order to exist, AI art NEEDS real artists. They will never replace us because they NEED us. If real art was to “die out”, AI would quickly follow. Their datasets would be filled with their own generated content, devolving into nonsense. It’s already starting to happen, because of the sheer volume of generated content. AI models can’t help but train on their own data. AI will end up killing itself because it’s poisoning its own well.

Scientists just discovered that we have three years left before climate change is irreversible! that quite literally means the world will end in the upcoming years! recycle, use public transport, STOP USING AI, support local and sustainable food sources, this is our only place for life and it is dying! the planet is dying, and it’s not a minuscule thing. you will be affected, everyone you know and everything around you will be affected. ai is bad for the environment, it requires significant amounts of electricity, which often comes from non-renewable sources, contributing to greenhouse gas emissions and climate change. please please spread the message.
