I think it’s hard for people to understand that it’s not even about trying to make a profit. It’s that it would actually cost you money, and not a small amount of money. And you like everyone else are expected to pay people a reasonable wage all these things do you have actual costs. It’s very expensive to deliver that “free” care.

I work in healthcare and would love to pro Bono I am a PT and would drive 2 hours to do a wheelchair eval because they couldn't get to clinic or no other therapist would do and I ended up making 20 with all the travel I feel so bad but I just can't do it and afford gas 😥
