I’m diabetic and the diabetes “trainings” were ALL WRONG. I sent so many rage-filled emails to the State Department. 😒

I feel this on every level and all I hear is my husband voice saying, ‘you know you have to do these trainings because someone has sued them for that exact thing!’ 16 hours of safety training I’m facing this year! Then if I read it faster than the voice that speaks, (because there is no speed option) at the end I get a notification that went through it too fast even though I got 100% on the assessment!!!

See, last summer my school had a flood, so instead of going through safety trainings like this, we were asked to help hang ceiling tiles, move heavy boxes, and clean the undersides of the lockers. 😅

So…you don’t want me to play in blood or other bodily fluids?! Whew- I’m glad I went to that blood borne pathogens training (like I have every damn year for the last 20). Close call… 🤦♀️

I have to climb on a windowsill to open my window because they won’t fix it so I can open it while standing on the ground. Last year I fell so hard my watch tried to call 911. I was fine.

My very favorite video in the “safe schools” series is the one about projectile eye injuries. My friend, not one of us is approaching a projectile eye injury nor have we ever seen one in 20+ years. I want that 20 minutes of my life back.
