I never imagined meeting my baby would look like this. After a long and emotional pregnancy — including a car accident at 30 weeks and scan after scan where they couldn’t get a clear profile of her face — I thought the hardest part was behind me. But when she was born via C-section, everything changed. She had a tumour in her mouth. It was a complete shock. No one had seen it coming. No warnings. Just panic, confusion, and then — separation. We were transferred in separate ambulances. I was taken to one part of the hospital. She was taken to another. I didn’t even get proper cuddles after birth. No skin-to-skin. No chance to look at her properly or hold her tight. Just emptiness. That night I lay in a hospital bed — stitched, sore, and completely heartbroken — while my baby was in NICU. I couldn’t see her until the next day. I remember forcing myself out of bed the next morning, barely able to stand upright, just to shuffle my way to NICU and finally see her little face. I didn’t get to hold her properly until day three. She spent five days in NICU — and although we’re so lucky that she’s completely fine now, I’ll never forget those early days. They were filled with fear, stress, and an overwhelming sense of helplessness. If your journey into motherhood didn’t look how you thought it would… I see you. Some of us met our babies through heartbreak before we ever held them in our arms — and that makes us strong in a way only we understand. #raisingawareness #congenitalepulis #csectionrecovery

You can’t have one foot in the almost and one foot in the real thing you’re asking for. you have to be willing to give up what isn’t fully yours, leap into the void of uncertainty having full faith the universe will spread a net and catch you. you have to be willing to show the universe “thank you but you know that i asked for more and I AM WORTHY OF IT.” By giving up what isn’t fully yours you open up your vessel and create space to finally receive what is. And you know in your heart when something isn’t fully your desire. Whether it’s a relationship, an opportunity, a home, a job…when the universe sends an almost your way your job is to not settle and remain patient for the *actual blessing*. And trust me the moment you give up is the second the universe conspires to give it to you! #mindset #energy #spirituality #healing #trusttheuniverse
