@abc7chicago: A bride experienced a rollercoaster of emotions when her wedding dress ripped just moments before she was set to walk down the aisle on July 5 in Ashton, Manchester. Footage captured by the bride, Bianca Ross, shows her getting ready for her big moment as her two bridesmaids work to tighten her corset. As the final adjustments were made, a loud ripping sound echoed through the room, prompting gasps from all three women. Ross told Storyful the zipper and hook-and-eye had been fastened, but when the fabric was pulled to straighten the dress, the zipper suddenly popped off. As Ross bursts into tears, the other bridesmaid dashes off camera, shouting: “I brought it for a f***ing reason, I’ve got my sewing kit!” With the crisis averted, the relieved bride grabs the bottle of prosecco that had been propping up the phone and takes a celebratory swig. “The dress broke while the car was waiting outside the hotel to take us to the ceremony, where my now-husband, our children, family, and friends were all waiting,” Ross said. The video ends with the women scrambling off camera to sew the dress back together.
