As a progressive I think we are far too susceptible to knee-jerk reactions to be anti-infrastructure. We need systems that can quickly and effectively build infrastructure if any kind of progressive agenda is to be realized.

I voted liberals and support the Bill. We need our resource sector to boom. Trans mountain pipeline is running just fine and the environmental impact was minimal. We need to work to get them done before the next election otherwise the Conservatives will not be so forgiving about the environment.

Nova Scotian here. The Downside to the Wind Farm proposal is our power grid is privately owned by Emera and greatly outdated. They failed Audits 7 years in a row and have been relying heavily on Fed funding. The grid also can't handle renewable energy says the company and has blocked all competitors

Our resources have to get to the world's markets. As long as treaties and indigenous rights are respected, and environmental concerns mitigated. This should be full steam ahead. Cons always complain we dont flex our resources. Well, now we are about to. Its not going to be cheap, its not going to be easy. But the pay off could be massive for future generations. If done safe, properly and fairly.

I have never wanted to withhold paying taxes as with this gov. no, I don't want to pay for weapons, I don't want to pay for oil. I would be happy to pay for clean energy, potable water, social services

Investing in carbon capture tech and research will allow us to get closer to a solution. The notion that we should just do nothing is rediculous frankly. This is exactly why I voted for Carney.
