Err that callum guy blocked Narada after Narada asked him simple questions about moisture vs hydration and other stuff. And hasn’t been vocal about the damage caused by continuous wearing of wash n gos on tight Afro textured hair. So…he’s a weirdo in my books.

Ive been using water, grease, and oil in my hair to lock in moisture & my hair has been thriving. I also stopped wearing braids & now wear two strand twist with my natural hair more. As well as wash my hair at least once a week even when it’s twisted. I can now see the length retention 🤗. Btw my hair is type 4

Listening to the science based advice literally changed my life (not to be dramatic). I went from crying every wash day, wanting to shave it all off or relax it, to finding detangling and washing a therapeutic experience. Needless to say, my hair is longer than it ever has been in my 28 years on this earth 🥹

We don’t listen to some of y’all, because you don’t give good cuts, often “curl experts” give you the grandma-look and just don’t listen to us and what we actually want.. so why would we listen to your advice? Obviously not you personally, I don’t know you, but just stating that sometimes the call is coming from inside the house 😬

As with skin, body, health, and even science: everyone is different. Hair is both a combination of genetics and outside environmental factors, so what may work for one may not work for another. there is no one size fits all, hence why the internet cannot be your onky source of information. Go to someone who can actually see your hair and feel it or start with some trial and error. We got to let go of the whole “this is the one and only way and everything else is wrong” mentality

I love Brandy but I can see how her delivery won’t work for most people. She can unintentionally come off as very condescending with her tone but her advice is literally truth. She also has no empathy for people who don’t like their natural hair and speaks poorly of those people. So it’s just a diction that alienates her from her own audience.
