If I had a daughter, I would make fairy potions with her teach her to believe in fairies and mermaids. She would be raised with a 2000s childhood with vhs tapes, her own treehouse, and no internet. We would watch Barbie movies together and go big for Halloween

i know it sounds weird but i genuinely believe in magic in the way i think that thinks like the fact we live and breathe and how intricate our bodies are and the way we function, also nature and the intricacies of our environment is magical. i don’t know if that makes sense lol

I probably won't teach her to believe in magic beyond the typical childhood stuff (Santa clause, tooth fairy etc) but I'll teach her that a different type of magic -love, joy and connection- is very much real.

I’ve told my toddler that the light that reflects off objects when light hits them are fairies, so now whenever she sees them she gets really excited :)) sometimes I’ll hold my phone by the window and move it around just so I can see that excitement
