My anxiety ALWAYS tells me I must follow the thought. I must follow it until it’s solved even if it’s 100% objectively unsolvable. So frustrating.

When my thoughts start to get loud, I always say, “Okay, everyone, settle down!” 😂😂😂 Then, chose where to refocus.

On Wednesday I noticed that I woke up without much thinking going on, so I meditated and was able to notice each thought and come back to presence. This is the first time in decades. However, yesterday I went back to being completely consumed by the thinking and although I've been trying to meditate and be present, it's not happening. How was it so effortless one day then impossible the next?

I went to the pharmacy yesterday and I heard the Tech tell some1 how they could have the dissolving powder to put over old medication for free, she told her u just pour it over the old meds shake it up and it will dissolve it etc. I started thinking as I was listening, I will start to do that when I start to create un- wanted thoughts. I will pic pouring powder over them and dissolving those thoughts. Letting them dissolve slowly and given me time to create a better thought. It has brought down my anxiety doing this in seconds.

I try to say is that me? spirit? fear? if the thought doesn't feel good I say, that's not true, that aint me, you're not welcome here please go away. it's can be hard at first to not get sucked into a negative thought spiral. I'm actively working on this
