If you haven’t before, you can always call the company you make your payments to and tell them your experience financial hardship right now and ask if they’re able to defer your car payment. Some can do up to 3 months.

... this is literally insane because I keep having anxiety and everytime I hear a truck pass by in my neighborhood I check my ring camera to make sure someone's isn't towing my truck 😭. I couldn't sleep after a 12hr shift one time.

my man woke me up at 3am said my car wasn’t there anymore… I tracked it called an uber and stole that mf right back. Made some calls to drum up the funds and paid the bank immediately! They said “the car is still in your possession?” I said “why wouldn’t it be”. Whew. Anyway you normally got 3 months before you need to be looking out for that beep beep beep. Keep pushing love.

When I was College I used fafsa to get a $2,000 car from the street. A 2000 Chevy Cavalier. I sat there and prayed everyday that it got me through College. It made the loudest noises, the radio would come out flying if I braked too hard, no AC, and the dash board was broken. It got me through College ❤️😊

unsure if you tried this, but try reaching out to the lender, they can help figure out some sort of plan or forbearance for short term. they would rather get some money than no money, and don't want the hassle of repo and selling

mine got towed because i couldnt afford parking in the area and then i had to pay over $1000 to get it back...then it got stolen (these events transpired in miami)
