Rice already comes in a dispenser. its called the bag. and when you pour it in the pot to cook it you can use the same pot to rinse it.

I want one but how the heck do you measure the amount? I'm new to rice cooking and it seems there is a thin line between too much water and not enough.... I would end up having to pour the rice in a measuring cup, which defeats the purpose....

You don’t actually need a measuring cup. Use the container that came with it. Whatever level you filled that container with rice, do it twice with water. 1 part rice 2 part water.
