all fun and games till you want that high paying secure job that requires a degree. Grades don’t reflect the person you are, but they are sure as hell important for opening up opportunities that you won’t see without a high school degree, college, trade, uni degree. This isn’t the 50’s 60’s anymore.

I don't care about grades, I care about effort. In school my brother couldn't achieve half of what I barely tried for but he gave it everything. My kid isn't academic, she's creative, intuitive, kind, able to communicate & compromise also her EQ is higher than most adults I know.

And if they get good grades to high school right then they go to college they become a successful person. A police officer judge a lawyer who knows all skies is up for the kids. I don’t know what kind of pair you are, but that is crazy.
