As a mom who experienced late term loss, “hiding” it was the best for our mental health in the fear that something would go wrong again. It also made for the sweetest surprises!

When you popped out with that new baby I was like yesss queen.. loved that for you! I really thought about this with my second too because being pregnant while in the toddler trenches was 😅

That can sound a little depressing when you actually read it out loud but hear me out… I’m not implying that you stay home and never see anyone, we all need connection it’s in built into our code to crave community. But I’m in a place now where I have my people and I have my partner. So weekends for me now are all about resetting and refreshing my mind and my body. I treat them like mini retreats where I can reset and better myself. I cook beautiful meals, read books, plan for the following week and spend time with my husband. Reflecting on this, I’ve realized that I must be really happy, I don’t even think about drinking or bars or nightclubs and I know that I never really found much joy from them. It’s liberating to acknowledge that in your thirties and relax into the actual activities that light you up and make you feel good. That’s not to say I never do anything or go anywhere, of course I do but I am so much more full of energy and happiness in general because I don’t need to seek it outside of my life. 🤍 #inspirationalquotes #selflovetip #30stiktok
