Bob Penfield was a ride operator at 18 years old when the park opened in 1955. he was the last of the "1955 club" to retire.

Tom Nabbe's first role as a cast member was at 12 years old as a Newsie, hawking "the Disneyland news" at guests on main Street. he went on to play Tom sawyer, manage the Monorail at Disneyworld Orlando, and helped with the opening of Disneyland Paris. he retired in 2003.
