@tltheprofessor: Rejection within the dating pool isn't the only kind of rejection you can experience. I had this job for just a few months, but it was HARD lol. Do you know what it's like for people to tell you they like your energy and everything adds up, but they just don't want it? Then if you can't make enough sells, you miss out on money? It hits your confidence, especially as a man trying to provide for your home. Thankfully, on the very last day of working there, an old colleague that I worked with 2 years prior came in during the last hour of my shift. She let me know that she was a manager at a healthcare company and told me to submit an application that night, even though she saw I had a job. I applied, nailed the interview, and have been in the field for 12 years now.
