okay so it’s not appropriation it’s a satin scarf. we can’t get mad at people wearing clothes that may look like something from another culture. all culture has impacted clothes throughout history and will continue to into the future. it is not directly hurting or making fun of anyone

As a south Asian girly in the comments, I will say that I love this over everyone wearing the same dress. But I gotta call you out on the unnecessary dupattas - it honestly doesn’t add anything to the dresses you’re wearing and yes it is cultural appropriation from lehengas and shalwars
