Mine had a heart beat until the very end. I had to be taken via ambulance and the on call OBGYN asked if my placenta could be sent off for pathology cause he’d never seen a placenta in pieces. I did a lot of tests and a lot of scans prior and after and they still had no answers i was 20 weeks

Im so sorry none of those doctors explained gently to you that bed rest is all that is recommended for SCH if babe is previability. You did everything you could to try to save her❤️

This happen to me as well i was 23 weeks pregnant with my baby boy the ob told me everything was right with him he was growing find mind you i seen my ob a week prior my placenta ruptured as soon as i got to the hospital the dr there told us my baby was not getting anymore nutrients cus he stop growing a week before i was bleeding out so it was an emergency c-section do to me bleeding out my baby past away 2 hours latet

I think it’s okay to be angry at doctors who let us down. Especially when it involves our children. I’m so sorry this happened. Praying for higher MFM care and more imaging for you in the future. No amount of words can cover the grief I know you’re feeling.

I lost my daughter at 16w4d from chorioamnionitis due to bleeding from a partial abruption. I'm also an ob sonographer. it started preterm labor and my Maysen Rose was born and had a heartbeat for 1 hour. I want you to know there wasn't anything you could have done or anything the doctors could have done. we are members of a club no one wants to be part of. they can not stop bleeding or an abruption. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I had a chronic placental abruption, started bleeding around 18 weeks and my baby A’s sac ruptured at 22-6/7. I also felt unheard about bleeding. Ultimately, with a placenta abruption there’s really nothing that can be done to change it unfortunately. It just sucks. I’m sorry you went through this.

I am so sorry for your loss. I teared up watching your story. I had multiple subchorionic hematomas in my 1st trimester and was passing golf size blood clots. I was told multiple times that no one could help me and to just do ‘pelvic rest’ because I hadn’t reached 24 weeks. I was referred to an MFM and they diagnosed me with placental abruption at 20 weeks and again basically told me there’s nothing they can do either I’ll absorb it or it will pass. If anyone out there has a similar story please get an MFM referral and listen to your body and your baby. You did everything right and I’m praying for healing for you and your family ❤️

I lost my son 5/19/18 due to placenta abruption at almost 18 weeks. I found a poem online that has always helped me when I felt at my lowest. I dont know who wrote it. I just sent it to you in a message. I hope it helps you as much as its helped me.

I’m so so sorry. I’m dealing with a 2nd trimester SCH right now & you are 100% right, they just tell you it’s normal- it will go away. It’s so upsetting. This is so unfair. I lost my daughter in 2019 at 19 weeks & the pain never goes away, but I promise one day you will smile again. I’m so so sorry for the loss of your daughter.

I am so sorry that this happened and for your loss. It’s sad that so many drs will over look issues especially in women and pregnancy. They could’ve done more to help (in my opinion) and I’m sorry that that didn’t happen. Sending you warm hugs 🫂

So incredibly sorry for your loss. I was 38 weeks when I had a placental abruption unexpectedly at home and was rushed in for a crash c section my son sustained HIE. Placental abruptions are very traumatic and not common im very sorry for your loss. May she rest peacefully ❤️

I am soooo sorry you went through this. I have chronic placenta abruption and had to fight to be heard because I bled from 10 weeks - 23 weeks and refused to leave. I’m so sorry your story went this way. ❤️❤️❤️
