Not circulating, by the time fluid reaches his feet, it says “ehhh, I’m staying” where ours continues circulating n being excreted thru kidneys n skin, lungs. If there’s an issue 1. w/the heart unable to circulate 2. Kidneys failing from high salt/sugar diet 3. Skin…might be damaged from chronic, artificial,sun tanning. Etc.

So many things wrong with this explanation. The heart doesn’t “pull” anything. Venous blood return has more to do with the valves in the veins and muscle contractions in the legs, mainly the calf muscles. If those valves loose compliance, which is not that uncommon in older people, then you can develop edema. There are other potential causes but we are talking about PVI here.
