@anjelicawynn: We’re excited to share that Pod Room 1 now offers blue or red lighting options for clients with severe PTSD or extreme light sensitivities that may cause medical emergencies. We recently had a client with severe PTSD visit our spa. He shared that he wears sunglasses everywhere due to bright lights triggering intense stress responses—even causing him to pass out. He and his wife explained that softer hues like blue or red are much more tolerable for him. While floating, he noticed the motion sensor lights in our suites were problematic due to the abruptness of them turning on we he got out of the pod. He and his wife were incredibly kind and even purchased bulbs for us to try, hoping they would help. Unfortunately, our rooms use recessed lighting, which isn’t compatible with standard bulbs. So instead, we went out and purchased a Wi-Fi-enabled, smart color-changing recessed light, and the result has been amazing.
