If NASCAR sells the charters it’s like taking property that doesn’t belong to them and making money on it. No Monopoly Here. Why would I invest millions just to have it taken away over a dispute.

Honestly I hope nascar sells their charters because that will win the teams the case in my mind. The teams want permanent charters because they spent north of 40 million a piece on them, if nascar yanks them away and sells them that’s the whole point! They paid to play they shouldn’t be able pull them away.

while I'm not one of those fans who hates everything new that nascar has done or tried in the past 20 plus years, this charter thing is one thing I've never really liked all that much. it brings a lot of politics and drama in the sport and most of the drama is way to complicated for most of us fans to even fully understand. imo the best system nascar ever had for locking drivers into the field was when the top 36 in owners points were locked in to the field and the rest were "go or go home" cars

Didn’t 23XI buy their charters? Shouldn’t they get whatever money they are sold for. Otherwise it would seem like theft by NASCAR.

All of this is peripheral issues when compared to the big issue which is the antitrust case. The finding of the actual trial will be exponentially greater in impacting one way or the other. It will impact all the other teams in a very positive way if 23xi wins. But only 23xi loses if they lose.
