apparently the most risky time for us is when we have either left or are trying to leave..my best friend growing up, when her ma finally left that man (well, kicked him out) he attempted to light the house on 🔥..so she let him back. People don't realise how terrifying, controlling, desperate these situations can make you. it's not as simple as finding personal power, it's DANGEROUS.

I have fully confidence she did everything she could to try to escape that man. One of the articles I read said they lived together on and off for 6 years. Not sure if that is true. But if it is, “on and off” suggests she definitely tried to end that relationship likely multiple times… these men do not allow us to leave. They track you down and invade your life. They don’t take no for an answer.
