@milobeachdawg: He was just saving some for later 😅🧡 Pupdate: Milo is still doing fairly well given his condition. His back legs are still limp/paralyzed but we may be making some small progress. I’ve been doing stretches with him and massages to help his blood flow and I’ve seen some small reaction in his legs 🥹 he certainly still has some nerve function somewhere, and is even able to tuck his tail towards him whenever I lift it to clean him up. I know these aren’t huge improvements but I’ll take whatever we can get. His toes have relaxed as well and are warm rather than cold which could indicate these is still some blood flow. Unfortunately, he’s likely not an ideal candidate for any surgery given his current lymphoma remission status along with consistent mild anemia present. I know this may be a long road to recovery but we have to at least try. If that means physical therapy, acupuncture, laser therapy, etc consistently for a while, we’re ready as long as he’s willing and not in pain. So far, he’s been very alert and responsive(almost bored really), eager to eat/drink, urinating/defecating normally, and even able to propel himself forward with just his front half given he has support in his back end. He’s never failed to show us anything less than pure unconditional love and giving him a chance with this is the least we can do.
