Riding my trained horses never a problem...training new horses, i suddenly had fear when i never had any....yeah it hits different after kids.

I spent 14 years out of the saddle with my terminally ill kiddo before he passed. It’s been hard getting back in the saddle with the weight of grief, and guilt, self doubt etc. But I’m still doing it daily.

That mental block is real… I’d never been afraid of jumping on a raunchy one til I needed to be ok for someone other than myself… years later the fear has started to fade though 🙏🏼
