Totally agree. Idgaf about stealing from a corporation from a moral standpoint. But when they catch you (and they WILL catch you) they will prosecute you. You probably won’t end up in jail, but they will make your life hard for a while.

True story: I casually knew an upper middle class woman who liked to shoplift for fun. She was so judgmental of everyone else, and one day finally got busted. Man, I loved that for her.

I still have no moral qualms with shop lifting but after getting arrested for it, it is not worth it. Lost a job I loved, embarrassed myself and had to squat and cough. Don’t do it!
