Ben was awful to Audrey even before being spelled. just by the flirting looks he have with Mal in front of his current GIRLFRIEND

Audrey was more her grandmother than anything. In the third movie her snide comment about her mother being able to keep a man in her sleep is what tipped Audrey over the edge 🥺

Can we talk about how Mal is one of the most if not the most privileged characters in the franchise? Even on the Aisle she had the nicest place to

It didn't make sense in the Royal wedding that Audrey was planning Ben & Mals wedding

In my book Ben is worse. Mal wasn't raised with morals it's a learning process for her, of course she makes big mistakes and it takes time for her to apologize and to realize it's a necessary step. But Ben was raised with a moral compass he knows about accountability taking and that when you hurt someone the very least you apologize.

That’s the thing like Mal spells Ben to take the wand and because of that he humiliated Audrey but then Uma spells Ben and its bad like no it was bad the whole time neither should have done it but people backed Mal for Ben “choosing” Uma while everyone cheered on Ben declaring is love for someone is not his girlfriend

We all have gone through this—inherited prejudice. If you hear something for the first time and you hear it long enough, you believe it. This is just what happens if you live in a predominantly white or black or rich or whatever neighborhood. Your flesh naturally does it. Your parents pass the way they see stuff down to you.

Can we talk about how Mal is one of the most if not the most privileged characters in the franchise? Even on the Aisle she had the nicest place to live. Then when things got hard she was ready to run. She also spelled Ben but when Uma did the same thing she got more hate.

I can understand why Queen Leah was upset with Mal in the first movie cause of maleficent she never had the opportunity to raise Aurora and become an actual mother she miss out on her childhood. Also this is probably the first time we seen her show emotions like this.

Not only that but i kind of…hate Audrey being made the villain paired with hades and mals struggle (I could go on a rant about hades being her dad but i digress.) it also feels like audrey doesn’t really make thematic sense to come after uma, if anything audrey should of been the sequel villain and even then her motivations for being ‘Evil’ are half baked. It feels strange to pair a sub plot of a father being estranged from his daughter with a villain whose entire motive is based around a jealousy filled revenge plot? It doesn’t mesh well already and Disney’s execution made it 10x worse honestly. Even ‘queen of mean’ as a song falls incredibly flat as the instrumental is VERY repetitive, we add the context of uma being the last villain who got 2 entire songs that are very good; audrey falls completely flat. It would have been nice if they put a little more pressure and focus on what Audrey’s grandmother tells her at the start of thd movie. I wish we explored more of the actual pressure that was put on audrey to marry ben politically, but we never get a glimpse beyond that interaction.

And if any of us were treated like Audrey, we would be livid. Imagine, it’s not Disney but a LifeTime movie and your rival wasn’t Dove Cameron. Not only is your ex’s new girl the very offspring of the woman who tried to kill your mom (and is still her godmother btw), the girl gets your ring and your dream job. It takes two and a half movies, almost two years, and for you to cause almost mass destruction and harm to hear: “sorry.” What would be your first Reaction?

I agree with you and I still cannot get behind the how Bella an Adam I'm sorry beast which is stupid but I understand why they just kept calling him that but anyways them begin king&Queen and then all the other kingdoms just bow down to them also making Ben king at a very very young age why he's still growing as a teenager it's not okay like I understand royal families make the children rule us at a very young age but still it's pretty stupid actually if you think about it because it's still growing like I said and they're still learning about life and what they want to do with theiralives and what type of wool a day wanna be when they grow up because they're not adults yet.
