Disagree 100% im OG fan grew up watching these back in 2000s, the ending makes sense. Can’t obviously say why cause it’s a spoiler but it definitely makes sense when you go back to watch the other movies.

*SPOILERS* I am so sorry I HATED it. The acting, the dialogue, the reveal? The Helen scene was not needed im so sorry. A lot of things felt so forced and bland, nothing felt “real” like the original did.

I thought the endings of the first 2 movies were so suspenseful and fun. From the Helen shivers chase scene until the ending of IKWYDLS and from when Ty gets killed until the ending of I Still Know. We didn’t get that in this film. For how shocking the ending was in this new film, it still fell flat imo. Julie at the end was flat as well which isn’t her fault, it’s the writers. With how little Sidney was in Scream 22’, she still was involved in the action and beat downs that made it almost worth it, while Julie was just there. The post credit film didn’t make up for the movie, but gives a little hope to what could and should come next.

Madelyn Cline’s character was INSUFFERABLE, some of the cringiest dialogue delivery in the entire movie. I walked out of the theatre not remembering the name of any of the new cast. None of them should have survived

I feel like your criticism of FPJ’s acting doesn’t really hold a lot of weight as a negative review for this movie, only bcuz his acting is bad in almost ALL of his movies lol. ESPECIALLY the first IKWYDLS. Like you might as well say every movie he’s in is a bad movie if his acting part of why you didn’t like this movie haha.

Yess us Helen stans were fed in this movie!! But I agree the ending had my jaw on the floor in not a good way 😭 but the credits scene I loved so much. And my favourite new character was Ava. I also wish there were a bit more chase scenes too but the movie in general I thought was good but I prefer the first 2

I honestly believe that Jennifer Love-Hewitt saved the movie for me..I didn't care for the newbies either..I thought they were sooo boring, The only character I found interesting was Tyler. The ending felt off & poorly executed..I didn't like the Julie/Ray dynamic & I feel it was written that way mostly because Sarah Michelle Gellar requested that lol. It was an alright movie.

They didn’t need to or should imitate scenes from the original, but come on, with all the nostalgia, at least include some long chase scenes. Also, the dream scene should have happened to Julie as it makes more sense, but we know why it didn’t🫣.

I HATED this movie so much. And it upsets me because I love the OG film. My stepfather took me to see the OG in theaters and then the sequel. This was nostalgic for me. This movie made me so angry. Omg. So bad.
