Literally an hour ago at Atlanta Airport, I ran out of a restaurant because I saw a child about 3 wonder out. No one stopped, I even tried to get someone with a badge to help ans he didn't. The child almost made it to the escalators to the train. I grabbed his hand just as someone from the restaurant came around. No one else phased!

ok. the world officially just got scarier. All these "men" in the comments and the men on the plane saying they WOULD'VE LET THE PLANE CRASH..innocent people possibly children... is inconceivable. I'm seriously shocked and appalled. What the f has happened to mankind?

Maybe first class should be moved to the middle of the plane. I never really thought about it before, but the people in first class generally don’t tend to be the type of people I would want for our last line of defense.

When PAX come into my Galley to go to the Lav but accidentally touch the Cockpit door — I always, ALWAYS say to them that I was prepared to tackle them, this is for them to remember & acknowledge for the future of what everything is in the Cabin. Pax are so unaware of their surroundings nowadays, ESP. Business Class. No matter how many vids, announcements, placards there are. Most dgaf in general. FA’s are there for your protection but some folks don’t even know that. The ignorance is astounding. ✈️🩵

I don’t blame the men for not stepping in. Men have been accused of many things while just trying to help. The person involved could have said he groped me or he touched me inappropriately. The charge would most likely be thrown out later but until it is that man’s name is dragged and soiled. He could lose everything and spend thousands fighting it before it gets thrown out. So no I don’t don’t blame the men for not stepping in.

society is causing more bystanders. Every thing has flip flopped. People sue and win when they shouldn't. You might risk getting arrested for stepping in. It can be clipped and spread around to cancel you and tarnish your name and reputation.

A. Using a moment to celebrate women isn't always a moment to bash men. B. Women who are bashing the men who didn't step in apparently haven't paid attention to society in the last 10 years. Physically handing women this way leads to jail time unless you're law enforcement.

This story is reflective of the United States right now—the rich being okay with the country burning, while an unhinged person tries to take them down, and an a Black woman steps in. It worked for the plane, but not our country.

Not trying to protect those dudes, but a factor could be that now a days if a guy tries to jump in and stop a woman they could be potentially sued for touching/hurting her even if they were just helping. I literally watched a scenario that played out like that even though there was video. I ended up throwing her in a head lock, but honestly I had been itching to do that all night lol I’m just offering a different perspective, don’t come for me.
