How about we all just decorate our house the way we like it. You need to feel happy and comfortable in your own home. Also, definitely don’t decorate for resale value. You should get to enjoy the style and decorations yoy love!

No. 35yrs as a designer. Never encourage clients to charge styles based on trends. Find what speaks to that person & design a home that makes THEM comfortable. Period.

Everything boils down to personal style. And if you’re renovating, and you can do an Undermount sink, I agree, but unfortunately, many can’t which is why the drop-in is still popular.
