The Catholic Mass...the entirety of the Mass IS DIRECTLY TAKEN FROM THE BIBLE...word for word. We read 2 Old Testament and 1 New Testament reading every Mass. We are definitely encouraged to read the Bible. Those who don't want to engage, just don't. Those who do engage, do. Please don't make fun of our belief in the true presence... body, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus in the Eucharist. I would never question the validity of your faith.

I don’t understand why they pray to people other than Jesus Christ. It doesn’t seem ok to me to do that.

My family is catholic, we go to a Christian church with my kids, Christian church is very positive sermons, not so much in Catholic church, though I do appreciate the structure of mass
