Hi bb, this was me for the last 15 years. I feel your pain. I just barely tried doing 4% benzoyl peroxide wash coupled with a topical clindamyacin phosphate, and it’s working. I’m so happy but also so annoyed that the solution was this easy and I didn’t find it for so many years. I did have to get through about a 10 day purge period, but it’s been great since.

I say this from the heart and experience. Seek out a specialist dermatologist that is an absolute specialist with HS. Not what you have, but they are better Docs with this. They look at the disease differently. It is easy to let a disease define you, I know, but there is help. ❤

I started getting eczema and contact dermatitis on my face, eyes in my 40s. I also went thru TSW which is absolute torture. I say this to tell you there are so many who can empathize. When it’s your face, it’s hard at any age. ❤️

Mine is slowly getting worse. I’ve never had acne until I turned 25. It’s been a year now and I don’t know what to do. Every time I think I’ve found the answer and it starts to clear up it just ends up coming back worse.

My own mother used to panic at the sight of one on herself while ignoring the fact that I had sever cystic acne covering my face that she never helped me solve and dermatologists were to expensive 🙂

My face used to be absolutely terrible, I had cystic acne everwhere, and I was breaking out on my arms and back. I finally got on accutane and it cleared up. But every now and then,Ill get a couple breakouts and i freak out because i feel like it will all come back😭

It’s all relative. I had cystic acne years ago and now I’m breaking out on my chin much less but that doesn’t mean it’s any less difficult.

I’m 33 and still have acne. Red and blue LED light has changed my life. Please look into it. I bought the therabody brand. Try to do it 3-4 nights and I can finally feel better about my face!

Panic attacks when having to wash my face cos of how it would feel. Not looking in the mirror. Acne is so frustrating and very testing mentally. I pray your heals. Accutane got rid of mine five years ago. And never had it since. Even now I have ptsd from my acne. It affects you mentally so much ❤️
